Flooding my senses, the things that you do

Missing a heartbeat and that’s when I knew

Your turning my world into something so new

There were days in the past when I felt so bad

Most of the time it was driving me mad

No one to care for, nothing to Love

Waiting for something to give me that shove

The edge of life is where I stood

Hoping that someday maybe I could

Be like the others and walk that path

And maybe learn again to laugh
